On the last weekend of October, you have a great chance to get right into the heart of the Las Ventas bullring, a building with almost a century of history, of neomudejar style where, today in the 21st century, matadors still risk their lives whilst facing the bravest bulls of the Spanish dehesa (natural pastures). Standing in the Las Ventas ring is one of the most amazing sensations to be experienced in Madrid. You also have the chance to see the chapel where most bullfighters pray before the fight, walk through the Puerta Grande (main gate) which so many bullfighters dream of being carried through, stroll round the ringside walkway, look around its elegant courtyards, enjoy the terraces on the second floor and play our virtual reality bullfight simulation game to put yourself in the shoes of a bullfighter performing in the Las Ventas bullring.
