Types of tickets available
- Barrera: These are the closest seats to the bullring. You will have the best views and be closer to the action.
- Counterbarrier: These are the entrances located just behind the barrier entrances. They have the same quality of vision but with extra security.
- Tendido: These are the seats located in the middle area of the bullring. They have a certain proximity to the bullring and are located at a higher level. You can find low and high seats.
- Grandstands: These allow for a complete view of the square and the bullfighting spectacle at a reduced price.
- Andanada: These are the highest seats in the plaza. At the same time, they are the cheapest tickets.
- VIP boxes: The VIP boxes are located in the best areas of the stands. They have an enclosed space and premium services.

*NOTE: Shaded tickets are the most expensive because they are located in seats where the sun does not shine and therefore, it is more comfortable and pleasant to enjoy the show due to better visibility and less heat for the spectator.
Sun and Shadow Tickets

- Low roofing: Between 45€ – 80€ depending on height
- High tended:
- Grada: From 30€.

*NOTE: These tickets have an intermediate price due to the fact that during the bullfight, your seats will be in the sun and later in the shade.

*NOTE: These are the cheapest tickets in the bullring due to the fact that the sun shines during the entire bullfighting event. Therefore, in this type of seats the heat is higher and the visibility is a little more reduced.

Bullfighting Fairs at Las Ventas Bullring
The bullfighting season at Las Ventas starts in spring and lasts until autumn, with the big fairs concentrated in May and June (Feria de San Isidro) and in October (Feria de Otoño). There are also single bullfights in March and April, like the ones you can see on this page. During the winter months (January and February) there are usually no bullfights in Madrid.
The ticket sales of the bullring of Madrid are usually fast due to the high quality of its bullfights. The tickets for sales are sold out quickly so it is highly recommended to buy the ticket as soon as possible or reserve it as long as the platform allows it.
Finally, it should be noted that all these bullfighting festivities take place during most of the year except in winter, so buying tickets for the bullfights is not possible.

The Feria de San Isidro 2026 at the Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas will be held from May 8 to June 14, 2026, with bullfights practically every day. It is the most important bullfighting fair in the world and brings together the main figures of bullfighting with the best cattle ranches.
Shaded tickets correspond to the seats where the sun does not shine during the bullfight, so they are more comfortable and have better visibility: they are also the most expensive. Sun tickets are exposed to the sun during the entire show and are the most economical. The sun and shade seats have an intermediate price, since they receive the sun only during part of the bullfight.
The Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas is located at Calle de Alcalá 237, Madrid. The most convenient way to get there is by metro: line 2 (red), Ventas stop. There are also several bus lines that stop at the door. It is not recommended to go by car on bullfighting days because of the difficulty to park.
