Authentic Bullfighter costumes\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n
Do you know where the saying “tie up your “machos” comes from?<\/strong> In your visit to the Museum you will know it, besides contemplating authentic marvels of bullfighting tailoring: bullfighting costumes that belonged to Manolete, Marcial Lalanda, Joselito, Belmonte, Bienvenida<\/strong>, and many more figures… stories, legends and the most unknown aspects of the essence of the bullfighting costume.<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Capes and other legendary objects<\/b><\/h3>\n
On our tour we will have the opportunity to contemplate capes and other jewels of the Museum: the one that belonged to Bombita<\/strong>, to Luis Manzzaniti,<\/strong> one that Belmonte<\/strong> wore or even a striking capote de paseo of Domingo Ortega embroidered in purple flowers and gold and with the figure of the Nazarene.
\nOther curious objects can also be seen, such as, for example, stoques and fundones, monteras, “mo\u00f1as”, scissors, canes or banderillas<\/strong>, which are part of the history of bullfighting.<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Period paintings and posters<\/b><\/h3>\n
During our visit we admired the important collection of bullfighting posters<\/strong>, including the one that announced the inaugural bullfight of the Las Ventas bullring<\/strong> on June 17, 1931, or those that illustrated the posters of various extraordinary charity bullfights.<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>

Legendary bulls’ heads<\/b><\/h3>\n
The Museum also has some of the most significant bulls’ heads<\/strong> in the history of bullfighting, especially highlighting that of the bull “Perdig\u00f3n, from the stud farm of Don Antonio Miura, which mortally wounded Manuel Garc\u00eda “el Espartero”<\/strong>on May 27, 1894 in the bullring of Madrid, or that of the bull “Burlero” which mortally wounded the bullfighter Jos\u00e9 Cubero “Yiyo”.<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
